Aloha Friday: Any Good TV Ideas?
Thanks to An Island Life , it's time for Aloha Friday! I feel better, more relaxed already.....
This week's theme is centered around television and shows we like and watch. But after walking my dog until 6:30 pm each evening, then cooking dinner and then going to bed around 8:30 pm (due to lack of sleep the previous night), that doesn't leave much time for watching and getting hooked on many TV shows!
So my question for you to answer veers off a little to the right a bit:
You have just been given a ton of upfront money to write your own TV sitcom or reality show. What is your show about...what is it's theme and do you have an actor/actress in mind to star in your show?
That's it. Have fun.....it's Aloha Friday and that's what you are supposed to do, silly!

I don't have any great ideas for a TV show, but it would star Kyle Chandler because I just love him!
Wow, a hard one....
I'd have to do a show on a modern day blended family. Complete with the fighting kids, controlling exes, ILs always in your business. lol
No stars in mind.
My Aloha Friday
This is supper hard but probably some type of reality show involving babies, brides or families.
hard one! i love legal dramas, but there are too many of them. there are too many reality tv shows and we DO NOT need another.
i'm not sure.
Ha, I'm not falling for that trick, you might steal my ideas. Actually, I lack the creative gene that would help me come up with anything.
My show would have to be a comedy. It would be as strange as the Osborns. It would be about a man with Parkinson's building a house and the comic interaction of his clumsy wife. Of course he has way more grace then she does. I guess I would be the only viewer.
I have never had any sort of interest in doing something like that! If I did, I would probably do a reality show of some sort - I'm a sucker for those!
You should see if Jerry Bruckheimer (hope I spelled his name right) blogs & check with him -- he has a zillion hit shows on right now, I bet he could give you an idea or two!!!
Lisa: I would love to watch your show. It sounds lovely.
Hi where at in Scottsdale are you because i live in Mesa. Hmmm small world.
That's a good and hard question. I would want to do a cooking show.
I would have a TV show about a cheerleading squad. There is so much drama around these girls AND their mothers. If you have ever seen the movie "Bring It On", you know what I am talking about. I think it would be fun to have a weekly show about the day and the life of these cheerleaders. Believe me (my daughter has been a gymnast/cheerleader for many years), there would be plenty of subject matter.
Nice Posting
