Facebook: Everybody Has One
This post is going to be ridiculously short as I will be spending the rest of the afternoon making my Facebook account. Apparently, I am the last person on Earth without such an account and I have been told that I need to get one ASAP. My daughter said if I want any more pictures from her, that I will need to get this account. My friends who don't know how to blog, have a Facebook account. My tax accountant has a Facebook account. These guys at the brand new Cook County Correctional Facility in Chicago, probably all have Facebook accounts:
I must join the land of the living and get my own Facebook account.
As I am as tech-challenged as they come, I welcome any and all advice about Facebook (what not to do, tricks-of-the-trade)...that sort of thing would be most helpful.
So, tag...you're it! That's not how to tag a person? Boy, do I have a lot to learn.
PS: Spellcheck does not know "Facebook" yet, either!

Hi there, Fellow Blissdom attendee here, discovered your blog from other attendees! My site has a few resource links that might help - unfortunately my site is down today! www.youronlinegotogal.com, you can see other resources on my facebook page at www.facebookgotogal.com, and if you need more help, give me a holler at misadventureswithandi AT gmail DOT com.
i'm on facebook and will most definitely be adding you to my list of friends!!! I love facebook as a networking tool, to keep a list of contacts and share pictures, but I don't really pay much attention to all the other *fun* games and applications they also offer hehe!
And yes you may feel lost at first, but soon you'll get the hang of it and be *FACEBOOKING* everyday!
You won't play on blogger much anymore... as the FB will monopolize your free time.
I've fallen prey to its power.
Not to worry, you are not THE last person to join fb. I only joined after the first of the year, and I am sure that I had the confidence to join because you taught me how to blog!! It is really intersting "becoming friends" with those from your past. Have fun!
I joined FB a few months back and I'm not impressed. I dunno, everyone I know LOVES it but it seems like another popularity contest to me. Plus, I don't get the giving of plants and objects and fake food fights, it's just weird.
I get on information overload with Facebook. I had an account for a while, but I deleted it. It IS a great networking tool, though, so maybe I should reconsider!
Let me know when you are up on FB- I spend a lot of time on it- now if I can just get work stuff done on it~ I think I am the last person to Twitter thoug- still figuring that one out- but I like the concept.
